Flipside Circus is Queensland's largest youth circus company with a national reputation for excellence in training and performance. Circus provides a unique opportunity for young people to show off, take risks, trust, dream and aspire, work hard, laugh, and have fun!
Our workshops and residencies bring some of the worlds best circus artists and trainers to your community to work with local children and young people.
The programs are fun and challenging and focus on, building self-confidence, physical skills and fitness, trust, and teamwork. They can be tailored for individual communities and include:
- short one-off fun introduction to circus workshops,
- week-long residencies culminating in performance,
- community activations, festivals, and events.
Flipside's different programs can cater for children and young people aged 2 to 18 years (as well as offering tailored programs for adults and community groups.

- Considerations
The residency works well on most large venue stages. Large flat space and easy access to rigging.
The workshops are highly adaptable, the Flipside team can travel with a freestanding portable trapeze rig as well as mats etc. The minimum requirement is a large flat space preferably with 4-8m high ceilings.

Unique Selling Point
The workshops and residency programs can engage children from 2 to 18 years. They work particularly well when linked with local schools, gymnastics clubs, dance schools or sporting clubs. Come and try workshops are also suitable for adults and other community groups.
