Unique Selling Point

The Mr Snot bottom show is targeted to reach everyone in the room 4+ so we strongly encourage theatres do away with the parents at the back/children up the front configuration as the show has been specifically designed for parents and children to experience together. There are songs and routines that are about the dynamic and relationship between the parent and child, which means the whole family is bonding and laughing together.

Community Engagement

To aid with Community Engagement we have a workshop which has 90 min and 3 hr versions but can be increased and modified for maximum impact.

LITTLE COMEDIANS WORKSHOP Do you love to laugh? Ever seen a comedian or funny actor on the TV and thought I could do that? Want to know how to make your friends laugh non-stop?

In this 90 minute workshop Mark Trenwith (Mr Snot Bottom) teaches kids the basics of comedy through improvisation techniques and classic comedy structure.

Kids learn what makes a joke funny, what makes a joke not funny, performance techniques and how to go about creating an actual comedy character through a series of classic ‘Comedy Secrets’ (ooohhh!) such as “Exaggeration”, “Disaster,” ‘Misdirection,’ ‘Suspension of Belief” and of course just lots of fun!

Recommended age : 7-12. Recommend class size: 10-30 kids.

The three hour version is geared towards developing short pieces which can be performed to parents afterwards. It is possible to develop these works even further for performance at school assemblies and community events with the appropriate allocated time.
