Bringing Musical Theatre To You

Life should be about bursting into song and dancing around light posts. When did you last see a large group of joyful songsters coming towards you with a kick-ball-change and spirit fingers? After watching this collection of Songs From Stage and Screen, you may be the new leader of the above group. Audience members are encouraged to sing along to songs from Annie Get Your Gun, Oklohoma, Oliver, Les Miserables and many more. Louise shares snippets and anecdotes from 'backstage' of her vast career and a musical theatre actress and soloist. As a connection is made with her unique and emotive performance style, audiences may find themselves so deeply immersed that they believe that they are living the experience of the characters. Each song is connected with dialogue and simple but delightful costume changes, all designed and made personally, by our talented songstress. Act 2 is a collection of beautifully presented classical pieces. Most of these are songs that you didn't know you knew. Who knows which of Louise's glorious ballgowns or tiaras will be worn at your performance. There is always a reason for Bling.

Considerations

We have sound equipment that is suitable for a medium sized hall. If anything more than this is required, this can be discussed. A head mic is essential (we have one with our basic setup)

Louise Winton has over 35 years experience as a musical theatre actress. Louise is an exquisite soloist who has won awards for her ANZAC themed compositions. She received classical training at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and has been the invited soloist for some memorable events including singing the National Anthem at a major sporting event, and Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday celebration for the Governor General.

Unique Selling Point

Louise had the extraordinary ability to change between characters, creating a wonderfully interwoven tapestry of songs, shows and characterisation. Her unique performance style has been known to have the audience completely mesmerised, sitting like putty in her hand. On stage costume changes, although simple, extend the believability of the characters being portrayed. People go to the theatre for many reasons; entertainment, emotional release, passion, love of music and a good night out. All of this is given throughout this production.

I already have a marketing package that includes posters, social media, ticketing, fundraising, news paper release and some video footage. I am happy to upgrade any of this as required.

Community Engagement

This event can be used as a fundraiser for community groups in many ways. Either with food and drinks sold at interval, raffle tickets or even as a profit share from ticket sales. Community groups are invited to express their interest in either of the above.
