Livingstone Shire Council has two community halls suitable for events - Yeppoon Town Hall which can accommodate up to 400 seated and Emu Park Cultural Hall which can accommodate 150 seated. We also have the new finished Yeppoon Foreshore Stage area which is an ideal site for outdoor productions. We are keen to showcase the diversity of our communities - from the bush to the bays!

Objectives

Council is keen to present activities that cater to the diversity of our community, we are keen to use our venues (Yeppoon Town Hall and Emu Park Cultural Hall), Yeppoon Foreshore Stage and Ampitheatre area and programs would also need to be aligned to the objectives of our Arts and Cultural Strategy.

Audience Insights

Our current 'audience' for shows at Yeppoon Town Hall is definitely and engaged over 60's group - predominantly women. They love a good night out in Yeppoon. We would like to know what other members of the community would like to see and will be doing this over coming months. Future development of Acts for the Yeppoon Main Stage area will occur and then we believe families and younger audiences will attend.
