Looking for presenters for your work? It can be hard to know what presenters’ tastes are and where to start. Below is a little kick start for places to approach within Queensland.

Before getting started, the first thing is to be very clear about what your production is and where it might fit from a programming perspective. We know some work doesn’t fit into a particular art form or works across a number of different genres and some producers don’t appreciate their work being labeled, but it does help Presenters think about how they can market and promote your work to their local community.

If your work really is multi-artform start small and focused. Build up a strong presenting partnership with one or two venues who can then introduce the work to the rest of the presenter network. Word of mouth is always the best marketing so this way presenters can help advocate for your work on your behalf.
