Tully is a small town about 140 kilometres (or about two hours' drive) south of Cairns and has the reputation of being one of the wettest towns in Australia. It is one of Queensland's largest sugar cane and banana producers and is very popular with the backpacker market who work seasonally on the farms.

Tully is located on the coast in Far North Queensland, 1545 km (17 hr drive) north of Brisbane.
