Charismatic Circus Claire has found her calling in life, although it hasn't been an easy ride. After being rejected from the Kedron Wavell Services Club ABBA revival band, Circus Claire is onto bigger and better things. Youtube is her juggling coach and before long she is ready for a career in the circus although somehow her unique and quirky style is overlooked by the Cirque du Soleil audition panel. She tries everything from aerial tissu to acrobatics and suffers the deep heart-ache of a roller-coaster love affair with Boris-the-Russian-Gymanast-Turned-Circus-Acrobat. Even in her darkest moment, Circus Claire knows that where there is reality television, there is hope and once again Circus Claire re-invents herself.

Circus Claire is vivacious and slightly neurotic but unashamedly fabulous. Audiences of all ages will find her energy infectious and her smile contagious. She is living proof that being true to yourself makes the world brighter.

Considerations

A single rigging point is required for an aerial tissu. Minimum ceiling height is six metres. The show can also be performed without tissu in a low height venue or if rigging is not possible. The show can be performed as a solo show (30 minutes) or a duo show (45 minutes). There is audience participation in the show.

Unique Selling Point

The Circus Claire Show features a range of circus apparatus (aerial tissu, acrobalance, hula hoops and juggling) performed at a high level and yet it is a very simple and affordable show to tour with minimal sound cues, very basic lighting elements and a touring party of just two performers. The show is accessible for people of all ages and backgrounds with plenty of circus "wow" factor and a charismatic character that everyone, especially children, will find enchanting.
