Celebrating the great song and dance men of Hollywood

Just A Couple of Song and Dance Men is all about the famous male dancers of the Hollywood Movie Musicals, their songs, their life and their dancing, particularly their dancing.

The show is a 80 minute musical cabaret, currently starring Shay Debney and Mikey Halcrow (both from The Wizard of Oz). Together they tell the stories of, and sing and dance their way through, the great bygone era in a performance that channels Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Danny Kaye and many more..… .accompanied by Shanon Whitelock on a grand piano.

With songs like Be A Clown, Pennies From Heaven, Mr Bojangles, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and so many more, it is a whirlwind ride with one memorable song after another, all guaranteed to make your audience smile.

Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men is a family friendly show, easy to bump in and out and is very flexible in terms of staging and lighting. The show can be easily adapted to suit most venues.

JTM Productions is a small family company based in Melbourne. It's Executive Producer, Margaret Fisk has been involved in the event industry for over 37 years staging, managing and producing large scale conferences, concerts, industry nights, product launches, choral activities and theatre / musical theatre and cabaret productions. The Company has been touring its own productions since 2014.

Community Engagement

We are committed to providing opportunities for local organisations/communities to participate in the Arts. Our community engagement programs include a range of activities suitable for all abilities that can be specifically tailored for the local community.

  • Sharing Stories - our Post Show Meet and Greet series

  • Pre/Post Show Q & A Performers are available for a Q & A with performing arts schools or upper secondary school students to discuss about being a performer, touring and coping within the arts industry.

  • Tap / Percussion / Dance Workshops / Masterclass – these are tailored to the participants and in the past we have provided workshops for a range of ages and abilities. These have included working with the venue to provide basic tap or a masterclasses where participants learn a routine from the show, providing a tap and movement workshop in Aged Care Facilities, Retirement Homes or Special Schools, classes for Dance Schools and Special Interest Groups, even a movement session specifically for those who have Dementia.
