Backed by a fabulous big band. (Katey Aspeling available on request)
The Kings Of Swing Show is a celebration of the songs and big band music from the great swing era of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, including pop hits from Paul Anka, Bobby Darin and Michael Bublé.
Fabulous storyline about the immense influence Frank Sinatra had on thousands of artists - Paul Anka wrote the lyrics to My Way. Michael Bublé’s statement to a record producer “ With all due respect, sir, Mr Sinatra is dead. Please don’t bury the music with him”. Bobby Darin’s desire to emulate Frank Sinatra as the star attraction at the Copa Cabana.
The show contains many “signature” tunes millions have come to know and love:
Sinatra - Come Fly With Me, New York New York, My Way.
Paul Anka – Diana and Multiplication. His Rock Swings songs, The Way You Make Me Feel and Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life.
Michael Bublé – Feeling Good, Home, Me and Mrs Jones, All Of Me, Call Me Irresponsible.

- Considerations
We would require a stage large enough for 12 musicians and 1 performer (possibly 2 performers depending on budget). Stage size 10m x 6m or less. Techs: 1 (to operate audio and lighting) and possibly another to help setup 1 x drum kit 1 x piano/(good branded keyboard) Amps for rhythm section. 1 x riser for drums (not essential) 1 x riser for trumpets (not essential) The entire band needs mic-ing plus a wireless mic (or two) for the performer/s We can generally work with-in the parameters of basic stage lighting
"For the love of the music. That's why I perform and that's the main reason the guys I work with play the music. I am extremely fortunate to work with some great musicians who have worked with some of the great swing stars. I count amongst my closest friends, musicians that I work with, who have worked with the likes of Sammy Davis Jr, Mel Tormé, Matt Monro, Shirley Bassey, Kerry Biddell, Ricky May and many more."

Unique Selling Point
This is a rare treat - this show is backed by a spectacular 11 piece big band and includes many very recognisable songs. Adding a female vocal (and a young and attractive one at that) would make it even more appealing to audiences.
For the 50+ demographic, Sinatra is still "King". He set the bar. Paul Anka's and Bobby Darin's popularity ranged from the late 50's right through the 60's, 70's, 80's. with many, many hits. Paul Anka had a hit again in 2005 with his Rock Swings album. And for today, Michael Bublé, is still as popular as ever and an international superstar.
Marketing Materials
The website www.gregaspeling.com has fabulous resources for marketing. Or we can provide a direct link of a YouTube video of the show.
Excellent artwork for current posters can be provided. Also, a 110 minute "Live" DVD, plus a double disc CD, of the show recorded at the Redland Performing Arts Centre Qld in April 2016
A 2m tall banner of the Kings Of Swing Show is available.
Community Engagement
Big Band Swing music is making a comeback. It is still rare for audiences to see and hear a performance which harks back to a golden, musical era. This makes this show extra special.
Audiences will also go away having learnt, probably unknowingly and in a very entertaining manner, a bit more about Sinatra and how some very famous lives were influenced by him.
The feedback from the debut show at the Redland Performing Arts Centre was simply amazing. It played to a capacity house of 550
