Community Engagement
Fiddlers Feast showcases the world of Aussie Fiddling. It's very informative and gives listeners an overview of what modern fiddle playing involves, it's influences and where it's all headed. It's a narrow net but we have fun with audiences and giving them a sense of what is possible violinists beyond the realm of classical music. For music students and community it's a golden opportunity to learn and brush up on skills that may be lurking just below the surface. In previous tours of Queensland in in all our touring we have discovered many ways of interacting with the musicians be it with formal master classes, informal workshops, or just a jam at the local pub.
