Boo-doop-di-doo with The Vintage Belles brings a contemporary twist, engaging audiences on a trip between classic and contemporary. Dazzling harmonies, stylish stage presence and engaging banter, The Vintage Belles give modern audiences a glimpse of how our most popular and most loved pop songs would sound like through the wireless if back in the Hollywood golden era. Styles include jazz, gatsby, ragtime and ... pop.

We’re talking six very fine musicians in a band that is always more than the sum of its parts. Inspired by contemporary female pop stars they take Taylor Swift, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and ABBA, back into a new era - the glitz and glamour of old-world Hollywood.

Considerations

> We are able to perform weekends from Friday - Sunday's inclusive throughout March 2021 all the way to the end of December 2021. Friday evenings, Saturday afternoon or evening, and Sunday afternoon's only for performances. Brisbane producer and performer Bec Grennan Djapovic of Bec Djapovic Creative presents live music, cabaret and theatre-style shows for clubs, music venues, theatres and cruise ships.

Previous self-devised one-woman shows include "Half Full" for The Brisbane Cabaret Festival and "So Unusual: Confessions of a Lauper Stalker" for the Queensland Cabaret Festival and Mackay Cabaret Festival.

She's been hand selected by festival director Alison St Ledger to perform in "Voices of Vice" at The Queensland Cabaret Festival Opening Night Gala. And has a musical theatre career spanning 15 years interstate and internationally.

"Boo-doop-di-doo" with The Vintage Belles is her first touring show, with the focus on providing touring opportunities for her cast as well as building a larger network of presenters across Queensland to build strong relationships with.
