The Shire of Etheridge includes the following settlements:
Georgetown, Einasleigh, Forsayth, Gilbert River, Mount Surprise, Abingdon Downs, Conjuboy, Gilberton, Lyndhurst, Northhead, Strathmore and Talaroo.
It covers an area of 39,199 square kilometres and in the 2016 census, had a population of 799.
The stage is timber floor with 2 entry points from main hall area.
Public toilets are located beside the hall. There are no dressing rooms however the rear storage room (closest to the stage) is empty and could be used.
Rear entry is by stairs. The disable ramp gives access to the side of the hall. Internally there are 3 - 4 steps to the stage area.
The hall is a multipurpose hall; it is used for Community & Council meeting, movie nights, performances, School presentations and award ceremonies.
There is a light strip as well as overhead lighting for the stage area.
