The Greatest Magic Show is a multi-award winning, global sell-out sensation based in Melbourne, Australia. Since it's inception in 2018, the show has prosperously toured around the country and the world performing extended, sell-out seasons as apart of Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, NZ and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. The show is also a regular favourite in primary schools and community run events around Australia.

Stars Sam and Justin are the two charismatic magicians who lead the audience on an exciting and utterly hilarious journey into the world of magic! Featuring mind-boggling magic, extraordinary circus acts, side-splitting comedy and LOADS of audience participation, The Greatest Magic Show will keep you and the littles ones on the edge of your seats from start to finish - with an inspirational grand finale that has to be seen to be believed!

New to 2021, are stunning illusions direct from Las Vegas: featuring a child from the audience impossible and visually levitating up into the air, or having their entire mid-section removed on stage!

As an added bonus, at every single one of our shows every child will receive a FREE MAGIC WAND on entry so they too can be involved with the magic every step of the way!

Considerations

Stage of around 6x4m, and some level of back/side stage space to store props that are revealed during the performance and to access frequently throughout the show. We tour with our own microphones and receivers but will require a venue with a PA and at least a basic lighting rig. We use audience participation throughout (restrictions allowing) so a space to facilitate this is ideal. A routine in the show requires a min roof clearance of around 4m so this should be taken into account – however we can replace the routine if not suitable. There are several sound cues in the show which will require an operator to trigger during the performance. There is a small element of fire in the show where possible, and we also give out free magic wands to all the kids when they enter the performance in the case of a ticketed show.

Unique Selling Point

The show is special in both it’s underlying message that it conveys to the audiences at every show and also in making a large scale comedy and magic shows, which feature illusions, accessible to this family audience in a show that is targeted to them. We speak authentically in the show, sharing our story of wanting to become touring magicians and we were able to because we believed in our dreams – which is the message then passed onto the children in the audience if you believe in yourself and never give up all your dreams will come true.

Marketing Materials

We have toured The Greatest Magic Show for the past couple years and as such have developed high impactful, commercial marketing material that is ready to go and use pending a few minute changes to the specific show. High-res live and production images, poster and flyer templates, web tiles, logos, top quality promo video, plenty of show reviews and awards won in previous years. For previous school tours we have incorporated a workshop element into the show featuring either magic or circus teaching with all the kids involved including supplying relevant props, instruction and everything else needed.

Community Engagement

Beyond the physical show we are able to offer workshop experiences as mentioned above, or if the shows were to be presented in a ticketed type of event we could offer to work with existing community events in the area offering public short performances or similar. We have previously facilitated community engagement spaces as apart of local town festivals where we would perform a public performance (either a short excerpt or the full show) and then held workshops afterwards focusing on a wide range of things such as learning magic, learning circus skills, making your own magic wands, making juggling balls, simple acrobatics, teamwork, showmanship and so forth. We have also help little talent shows where we would work on an act, either circus or magic, with a small group of participants across several weeks and then hold an exhibition show for family and friends. This was done in a small rural town here in Victoria over a 6 week period and received incredible feedback! We are also able to operate in a more roving capacity, providing roving magic, balloons and circus to compliment a larger event, or arrange local primary school visits with in-house performances of the show.
